Dr. Sinem Doğruer is an assistant professor at Trakya University within the ELT Department of the Faculty of Education. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hacettepe University in 2005, majoring in English Linguistics within the Faculty of Letters. Following her graduation, she worked as an English teacher at a private high school in Edirne for three years. In 2008, she joined Trakya University and pursued her Master's studies, completing them in 2010. Subsequently, she earned her Ph.D. degree from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, specializing in ELT within the Graduate School of Educational Sciences in 2016. She instructs courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, covering various subjects including Linguistics, Discourse Analysis and Teaching English Language Skills. Her research interests include discourse analysis, Second Language Acquisition (SLA), and foreign language teaching methodology.
