» Biyografi

Prof.Dr.Selim KARA, Giresun ili Eynesil ilçesi, 1970 doğumludur. İlk ve orta öğrenimini Trabzon'da tamamladı.  Trabzon Teknik Lisesi Elektronik Bölümünü bitirdikten sonra, üniversite öğrenimine Karadeniz Teknik  Üniversitesi, FEF Fizik Bölümünde devam etti. 1993 yılında lisans programından mezun oldu. 1994 yılında Trakya Üniversitesi Rektörlüğüne bağlı Elektronik Uzmanlığı    kadrosuna atanarak, Trakya Üniversitesi FEF Fizik Bölümünde göreve başladı. Yüksek Lisans çalışmasını,  yine Fizik Bölümünde "Bilgisayar Kontrollü Ultrasonik Ölçme Sistemi"  isimli tezini savunarak 1997  yılında tamamladı. Aynı Bölümde 1998-1999 yılları arasında Araştırma Görevlisi, 1999-2004 yılları arasında da  Öğretim Görevlisi olarak çalıştı. 2003 yıllında "Polimer Jellerin Oluşum ve Faz Geçişi Süreçlerinin Foton  Geçirme Tekniği İle İncelenmesi" isimli Doktora Tezini sundu. 2004 yılında Yrd.Doç. kadrosuna atandı. 2008 yılında Doçent, 2014 yılında da Profesör ünvanlarını aldı.
